Pear Bread

½ C Butter
2 Eggs
2 C Flour (a little less is OK)
½ tsp Salt
½ tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Baking Powder
¼ tsp Nutmeg
¼ C Plain Yogurt or Buttermilk
1 tsp Vanilla
2 C Chopped Pears

Cream the butter and add sugar. Then add eggs one at a time. Mix dry ingredients in separate bowl and add to egg mixture alternately with milk. Fold in pears (not with mixer). Bake at 350˚ for 1 hour.
